Being an eco-conscious retailer can be tough sometimes. It seems that often products that are better for the environment cost us more money, time, or both. The Powder Shampoo®

So what is The Powder Shampoo®? The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are literally as the company states: a powder. They have removed all water from the product, leaving you only paying for the active ingredients. You pour the amount you need in your hand, mix it with a little water from your bath or shower and lather!

My favorite part is that it actually lathers. If you're familiar with natural body care, in an effort to remove surfactants, there is often no lather. No lather doesn't mean the product isn't working, but personally, I find a good, rich lather so satisfying to see and feel.

There is a shampoo available for all hair types: Sensitive, Hair Loss, Anti-Dandruff, Normal, Dry, and Oily. The two types of conditioner are Hydrating and Nourishing. Given I live in a home with a spectrum of curls from 2A to 3C, I'll be curious to see which one (if either) works best. Stay tuned for those findings! The body wash comes in an Energizing Lemongrass and Ginger or Relaxing Lavender and Camomile scent. I am all about the ginger, while my husband loves lavender!
