It's Boogie Season

I know exactly what you're thinking, because I thought the same thing the first time I saw them while walking through the pharmacy: Why in the world would I pay $6 for Boogie Wipes when I can wipe my kid's nose with a tissue or reusable wipe? Enter my older son into the chat...... but first, a little backstory:

When my son was first born, we registered and received the Nose Frieda like most new parents we knew. We also received a bulb from where he was born to take home. Like all babies, he screamed when we tried to aspirate his nose with the bulb, and with the NoseFrida he screamed and thrashed like he was being subjected to murderous torture. Please visualize me holding his head and arms still while securing the plastic tube to his nostril while sucking snot through the straw. Like riding a bucking bronco. 

When he was about two years old, we transitioned to wiping the nose and worked on blowing. Again, he screamed as if he were in intense pain and ran. Now it looked like we were trying to chloroform our child in an old murder mystery as we chased down him with a tissue. In preK, a couple conversations with fellow parents and the teacher made me realize this whole nose averse scenario was unique to my son, who, now we know, is neurodiverse with sensory issues.

I realized one day when we were out and about that I could easily wipe his nose with a wet disposable wipe with zero fight or tears. Ahh, sweet success and relief! That is when I decided to buy my first pack of Boogie Wipes and hope for similar results. Turns out they are the best.

• Each wipe is completely biodegradable. 
• The saline in boogie wipes is anti-bacterial and dissolves those painful crusties around the nostrils. (So fingers and noses are disinfected)
